1:1 One to One Computing / 21st Century Education & Learning

1:1 computing was a topic I found while I was doing some preliminary research for this site. I've been spending days on researching it along with mobile and handheld technologies, so I am posting some of the best links here to save some time for people starting out research with 1:1 computing and 21st century learning... Good Luck!

For those of you new to 1:1... 1:1 isn't about replacing teachers by any means... it's about being able to customize and enhance education so teachers can have more impact on each individual student (and also, students begin to have bigger impact teaching one another).

The state of Maine (USA) has a large-scale 1:1 project well in development. The Maine International Center for Digital Learning has a video series: "Getting Started in a 1 to 1 Classroom."
